"In the last six years I have taken up hiking and combined it with my love of photography. Hiking has taken me on adventures that I never thought I would have done. From staring at the top of the world from the base of Mt Everest to walking trails in Tasmania that are just too beautiful for words.

This image is from one of my treks in 2019. We walked the “Tour Du Mont Blanc” and spent 10 days circumnavigating the Mont Blanc Massif which straddles the borders of France, Italy and Switzerland.

This image was taken on the final day for the trek where we descended from the mountains into Chamonix. Everywhere we looked was a postcard view. We strayed upon a small pond where the reflection of the Alps was too much to just walk past.

I used a Canon EOS 5D Mark IV with EF24-70mm f/2.8L II USM at f/16 for a greater depth of field and 1/50th of a second shutter speed (hand held) was as low as I could effectively go without a tripod. "
