Sigma continues to expand their impressive collection of Art Prime lenses with the introduction of the new 70mm f/2.8 DG Macro | Art and 105mm f/1.4 DG HSM | Art Lenses for Canon EF, Nikon F and Sigma SA mounts.

Sigma has also stated on their official Sony E-mount Art line announcement that their unique Mount Conversion Service will be available for conversion from EF, F or SA mount to E-mount.
For current DSLR photographers that are already shooting with Sigma Art primes this is an opportunity to move over to Sony mirrorless and not lose their investment in lenses or be forced to use mount adapters.
While mount adapters have been very useful as a stop gap effort to use non-native mount systems on mirrorless bodies — the increase in performance and strength of the correct mount can not be underestimated. Photographers will now be able to enjoy full support for Sony's continuous auto focus modes, high-speed auto focus system, and in-body stabilization. In-camera lens corrections for aberrations will also be supported.
With this new announcement of E-mount Art primes and the Mount Conversion Service, Sigma has truely committed to the Sony mirrorless system and we can expect many more unique offerings to come.
