Find out more on about this great new lens from Tamron here.

We have great exceptions for this new lens as the previous version was a solid performer at a very attractive price. Click here for a very detailed review of the Generation 1 version.

This is a fantastic lens for wildlife shooting as you can never seem to get close enough to those small birds and shy animals. As well the VC performance will be a real help when the light levels are fading or you don’t have a tripod handy. Cropped DSLR shooters will also love the effective reach of almost 1000mm at the long end of this lens.

We expect this new lens to be in stock at michaels camera towards the end of September or early October. If it is anything like the last version it is bound to be popular.
