Krystle Wright will be speaking about the risk and rewards of being a freelancer and how she has defined a career out of passion projects. Specifically, Wright will be showcasing three short films that explore photographers narratives unavailable to the public yet, so it'll be a great sneak preview! Pursuing a creative career is a demanding task that constantly challenges the artist. It isn't a case of asking what are you willing to do to succeed, rather, what are you willing to sacrifice. The role of an artist is to evolve and explore new ways of being a storyteller and being open to new challenges that can be absolutely frightening. Wright will speak about how she's evolved into directing and how that new set of skills has improved her photography.
No booking required. As seating and space is limited please arrive early as it is first come, first serve. Please note: Doors will open 10 minutes before each lecture.
