This is your chance to explore the world of Nikon Speedlights and get creative under the direction of Herald Sun photographer Jake Nowakowski.
Small groups will work together with a portrait model. Jake will demonstrate how to setup and use off camera flash with Nikon's i-TTL and RF modes.
Taking control of light direction, shape and quality are the objective and you will learn in fast simple steps how to go move your portraiture from using available light, to on camera flash and eventually to multiple flash setups with a range of modifiers.
With the clear and concise direction from Jake you will be able to gain the confidence to tackle lighting in layers as you harness the light. Total control of light in portraits will enable you to produce repeatable and consistent results in any environment no matter what the available light presents.
There will be a variety of Nikon DSLR's and Portrait Lenses for participants to use in the one hour sessions throughout the day.
Register in person on the day at the michaels Imaging Counter by the Lonsdale Street entrance.
